Gluten free Gram lentil cookie(with or without oven)
Hey my glutenfree buddy!!How are you today?I am so happy and exited because today I will make cookie for myself.I like all kinds of cookies but as I am searching for gluten free option we need to find alternative flour of cookie flour(maida).
I tried very much different flours to make cookie.what I find is one of them I am sharing with you.Its very much delicious recipe.
For this recipe you just need Gluten free Gram Lentil flour.
If you don't have it you can make it home.you just need gram lentils(chana dal).
Homemade gram lentil flour:
Take gram lentil and put it on a pan and roast them for a while.dont burn them
let it cool completely .then grind it to smooth flour.if there are chunks you need to sieve it.
and there is your homemade gluten free lentil flour is ready.
now next is you need butter or clarified butter (Ghee) ,some drop of vanilla essence if you want otherwise cardamom powder is ok.your flavour of cookie will be yummmmm!!!!
To make Gluten free Gram lentils cookie
Ingredients
1 cup Gram lentils flour
1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Butter or Ghee(clarified Butter)
cardamom powder
2-3 drops vanilla essence
Process
- take a bowl and add flour and sugar to it.mix well.
- now add butter.
- now add cardamom powder to it and mix them with hands.
- If you find very runny dough add little more flour
- If you find stiff dough add some butter to it.
- now your dough is ready to bake.
With oven
- If you want to make this Gluten free cookie in oven.pre-heat oven at 170c for 10 minutes.
- grease a baking tray with some butter and make small balls of dough and place it on tray at some distance.
- now put tray to oven at 170c for 10 minutes.
- then take out the tray and let it cool completly
- and store them in a dry container
- If you don't have oven at home then also you can make this cookie
- For that take a wide pan put some salt to its base and spread it evenly.
- put a stand in it so baking tray can be place on it.
- now cover the lead to pan and let it heat for 10 minutes
- take a baking tray or a metal plate which can fit into pan.
- grease it with butter and and make small balls of dough and place them at some distance on it.
- cover it and let it cook for 10 minute.watch the tray after that it should not burn
- take out the tray and let it cool completely.
- store in a dry container.
