hello glutenfree buddies!👍 bored with all routine food!! here I am back with some more recipes that are gluten free and also very much delicious.lets have some dessert recipes that you can use after a meal.once you try this deserts you will like to have them often.

Gluten free Jalebi

Jalebi is a very sweet  and very easy recipe to try even for first timers.when I made it first time it was not perfect as it should be but as I keep practising now I can make a great recipe for my self.because I am also gluten allergic.
Here in India we make Jalebi on Diwali ,Makar sankranti ,Navratri and sometimes even marriages also.its very much popular in Gujarat.normally serve with fafda-other namkeen recipe from Gujarat.I will defiantly share fafda recipe also with you all.

There are two methods to make Jalebi
            1.Traditional old method by fermentation
            2.instant one(30 minute)

I always use second method because I made gluten free Jalebi.now for the recipe you need to take a clean kitchen towel or a plastic bag with thick cover like a milk pouch.you need to pour jalebi mixture to it and have to make jalebi.

Ingredient

1 cup gluten free flour
1/2 cup yogurt
4 cup sugar
3-4 strips kesar(saffron)
3-4 cardamom
1 tsp lemon juice
pinch of turmeric powder
oil or clarified butter(ghee) for frying

Process

So first we need to make a batter for jalebi

for that you have to take a bowl and add gluten free flour or you can substitute it with only rajgira(amaranth) flour.

Add yogurt and mix it very well so there should not be any lumps.

Add water to make a consistency like not too runny or not too thick .Dhosa batter like consistency we needed.

Second we need to make sugar syrup.

Take a pan add sugar to it.

Add water.sugar should be covered with water.now heat the pan with medium gas.stir continuously.

When sugar starts to dissolve in water add saffron strips to it.

Add cardamom powder to it.

Make one string consistency.

hint : to check the consistency take a bowl with little water and put one drop of syrup to it .if the drop dissolve in water we still need to cook for a while.and if it holds its shape in water we are ready with the syrup and can switch off the flame.

for frying Gluten free Jalebi

hint : Take a pan that has flat wild surface.so we can make our jalebi very nicely.

Put oil or Ghee(clarified butter) in that pan.let it be hot.

Traditionally Ghee is used for frying jalebi.you can use either of them.

Take some batter and pour it to plastic bag or a container with a hole in it.you can take a empty milk pouch and cut it.

you can buy a readymade bottle from market or any online store.

now start to make jalebi.make circles from center to the out side.be carefull with oil.

hint : Oil should not be too hot or too cold for frying.

when you make jalebi turn them in oil other side.let it be light brown in colour.

when jalebi is fried instantly add to that sugar syrup.

hint : Sugar syrup should be warm at that time of placing jalebi to it.

After 10 minutes take out jalebi from syrup.now one by one you can make all this jalebi and serve it hot.

Normally we can eat jalebi alone but In some areas in India it serves with Rabadi(Indian sweet).

Try this delicious recipe and do share me how was it.If you want any gluten free recipe comment me I will surely make recipe and feed back to you.some of recipes that I tried are listed below so checkout them also.
