Gluten Free Chocobar Ice Cream
Hello my glutenfree buddies!!Hope you are doing great..today I am going to share a very tasty very mouth watering dessert recipe that you all like very much.
Gluten free chocobar Ice cream

As we are gluten free people we need gluten free options for ice creams.so here I tried many flavours of Ice cream at home and I am going to share one of them to you.
Do you know which flavour was first invented by anyone?
Very first flavour was Orange Blossom Ice cream ..that was invented in mid 18th century.
First newspaper advertisement was given in new york Gazette on 12/5/1777
And First president of USA spend $200 on the first ice cream.
Such a great thing na!!
Now a days in the united states ice cream made with any flavouring usually with some fruits is normally called "Philadelphia style" ice cream.Many ice creams uses eggs that are used to make custard and are called "French ice cream".
okey this was just a fact study.now we come to our recipe.so first we need gluten free corn flur to make ice cream.
I always use homemade corn flour.if you want you can also make it home.otherwise many online store are there to buy it.
Homemade Gluten free Cornflour :
To make flour you need just dried corns that we find in grocery stores.
Roast them for 4-5 minutes in a pan on slow to medium gas.
now let it cool completely.
Grind it to a smooth powder.you can sieve it and also can use.
To make ice cream we have to take full fat milk.otherwise your recipe may not be came out so nice.I always use Amul Full fat milk.Other thing we need is gluten free vanilla essence and sugar powder.
Yes you read it right .Vanilla essence also can have gluten sometimes.even coco powder also can have gluten.
To take precautions you need a buy them on checking their wrappers.
And how this all companies are checking that their product have gluten or not do you know that??
They all uses gluten detections kits ,associated antibodies ,detection procedure, and extraction systems.
There are many articles on this subjects on internet if you want to deep dive you can have a look on them.
We need Full fat milk Cream.generally this cream is always GF but in many cases they write allergen advise on them.so be careful.
now Back to our recipe
Ingredients:
- Half liter full fat milk(If you want can take skimmed milk)
- 2 table spoon of Gluten free corn flour
- 1/2 tsp Gluten free Vanilla essence
- 150ml Full fat milk cream.
- Gluten free chocolate bar
- Bar moulds
Process :
- Take out some 2-3 tsp of milk aside.
- And add rest of the milk to a pan
- Boil it on slow to medium gas.
- Mix corn flour to that rest milk we kept aside and mix well so there will be no lumps.
- As ilk starts to boil add that cornflour milk mixture to it.
- Keep staring.
- Let it boil for sometimes on low flame.keep staring.
- When milk gets thicken switch off the flame and let it cool.
- Now take cold full fat cream to a glass bowl .if you don't have glass bowl you can use a steel bowl also.
- Take wide pan and add some ice cubes in it.
- put that glass bowl on ice in the pan
- Now start whisking it blender or you can use a fork.
- but make sure you whisk in one direction
- Continue to beat until batter gets peak consistency.
- Add vanilla essence to it.mix well.
- Add that milk mixture slowly slowly to it and mix well
- Again beat it for sometimes
- Put that glass bowl to freezer for 2-3 hours
- After that need to beat it once more
- then you take out all the mixture to a air tight container and keep it in freezer for 7-8 hours.
- Your ice cream is ready to eat.
For the outer layer of choco.
- You need to take gluten free chocolate bars.
- Make small peace and put them in a bowl
- Now take a pan and add water to it.
- Boil that water and put that choco bowl on it and keep stir
- you need to make double boiler kind of a thing
- now when chocolates gets melt pour it on bar moulds.
- spread it evenly and remove extra mixture
- put into freezer for 1/2 hour.and after that add our Homemade Gluten free Ice cream to it.
- place it in freezer for 5-6 hours
- and bang!!!! your Chocobar is ready to it.
